Who is Andrew Rayel Anyway?
Born Andrei Rață on July 21, 1992, in Călărași, Moldova, Andrew Rayel is a classically trained musician who transitioned into the electronic dance music scene with a unique flair. His early fascination with classical compositions shines through in his productions, earning him the nickname “modern-day Mozart” among fans. By his late teens, he had already signed with Armada Music, catching the attention of trance legend Armin van Buuren. Rayel’s debut album, Find Your Harmony (2014), introduced the world to his signature blend of orchestral elements and uplifting trance.
Fast forward to 2023, and Rayel released his third studio album, Lifeline, showcasing his versatility and innate musicality. This album, along with his ongoing Find Your Harmony radio show, solidifies his position as a leading figure in the trance community. In 2017, he founded his own label, inHarmony Music, further contributing to the genre by nurturing emerging talents.
Rayel’s live performances are nothing short of electrifying. In early 2025, he graced the stage at A State of Trance in Rotterdam, delivering a set that resonated with fans worldwide. Additionally, his back-to-back performance with Giuseppe Ottaviani at Find Your Harmony in Kuala Lumpur in late 2024 showcased his dynamic presence and ability to connect with audiences.
