Who is DJ AM Anyway?
DJ AM, born Adam Michael Goldstein, was a pioneering American turntablist and mash-up artist from Philadelphia. Known for his incredible skills, he helped bring DJ culture into the mainstream during the 2000s.
He performed alongside Travis Barker and had residencies in Las Vegas and Hollywood clubs, inspiring a new generation of open-format DJs.
Though he passed away in 2009, his legacy lives on. In 2024, tributes and documentaries continue to celebrate DJ AM’s impact on the culture.
